- DS is not only an effective acaricide but also acts as Acidifier
having Fungicidal properties and above all A-Nutrient. Sulphur
is essential for all plants. It is indispensable for synthesis
of certain Amino Acids. Sulphur is also involved in various
metabolic and enzymatic processes in plants. Further it also
plays a vital role in chlorophyll synthesis. Sulphur is necessary
for the formation of sulphydryl compounds, which increases
cold and draught resistance. Due to continuous use of Urea+Rock
phosphate etc, Sulphur is not being replenished in Tea for
more than two decades. Hence foliar application of AKRISULF
- DS has tremendous scope in increasing crop. During the oxidation
phase when the change from Sulphur di-oxide to Sulphur tri-oxide
takes place - Tetrathionate is formed which is the KILLER
and responsible for the killing of pest and fungi. After conversion
to sulphur it acts as a major nutrient for replenishing sulphur
needs of the plant. AKRISULF - DS is environment friendly
and maintains safest MRL in Tea. NO Taint, NO Scorching -
NO phytotoxicity. AKRISULF - DS is highly soluble in water
and can be easily sprayed evenly on the Tea Bushes. As highly
micronised emulsion, recommended dose of AKRISULF - DS (1
lt./Ha.) is 2.5 times more effective than all the Sulphur
in powder form. 1 litre of AKRISULF DS improves the sulphur
level on the Tea leaves, AKRISULF - DS is effective against
all mites but most effective against SCARLET MITE. Due to
very small particle size, AKRISULF - DS has got high adhesiveness
and better distribution and as such high resistance to wash
off by rainfall or irrigation. AKRISULF - DS is compatible
with all categories of pesticide and Fungicide and can be
used both as Prophylactic and Palliative. Judicious use of
AKRISULF - DS helps to cut down Agrochemical expenses.
AKRISULF - DS improves tea quality. EPA clearance is not required.
AKRISULF - DS can be used throughout the year unlike other
sulphur based products which can be used only in cold weathers.
